Port Aransas is a city in Nueces County, Texas, United States, on Mustang Island, across Aransas Bay from the City of Aransas Pass. The population was 3,370 at the 2000 census, however, because of its beautiful beaches, world class fishing and affordable accommodations, Port Aransas is one of the most popular vacation spots in Texas.
